Me and my three siblings are stuck in Amsterdam due to a missed connection. Since it' was a KLM flight that caused delay's for everybody at Heathrow to begin with, we are checked into our own suites at a four star hotel upon arriving in Amsterdam. The next day before leaving for Schipol we record one more podcast to summarize our amazing two weeks in Europe. At the end of her podcast Dorothy records her version of the Coke Commercial, "Kasama Ka".

They say it takes approximately 8 months to tour the Louvre from corner to corner, an interesting proposition. But, since we had only two days to see the entire Paris we opted for a one and a hald hour guided tour of the musée de Louvre which took us to most of the highlights including the Mona Lisa, Venus De Milo, Nike of Samothrace and the Virgin of the Rocks.

A perfect opportunity to do a sound seeing tour. He is the first ever podcast from the Louvre in Paris, France. (Recorded on May 7, 2005)

Postcard from the Netherlands

Hey everybody. It's really a miracle that this hotel we're staying in Amsterdam has FREE wireless internet access in the rooms. Thank you Lord! It is because of this that I was able to upload two podcasts last night. I actually have material for some more but time does not allow me to catch up on everything. Nonetheless I am happy to send you a postcard of me in front of a Windmill on the outskirts of the city centre.

My first true podcast (a podcast created on an iPod) using my griffin iTalk. This podcast was recorded in the Philippines a day before my flight to Europe. I drive to my stylist for a haircut and then back home. During the drive I talk about tricycles and the things that have been keeping me away from podcasting. I also make my big annoucement.

Greetings from Europe

Hey everyone. I'm in Amsterdam right now on a tour of Europe. Sorry wasn't able to make this big announcement, I actually recorded the podcast before I left but did not have anytime to upload it. I'm recording several sound seeing tours while on this short holiday. Will post everything when I get back or if I can find an inexpensive hotspot here.

Cheers!

New Web Host

I just wanted to post a note to everyone who have been waiting in vain for a new podcast. I was actually in the middle of one at work while waiting for a scheduled feed from Rome when the pope story broke. I haven't recovered from stress all this coverage has demanded. Nonetheless I was successfully able to move all my files from my old webhost to a new one.

Upon the recommendation of Leo Laporte I tried out Vizaweb.com and am pretty happy with what it has to offer. First and most importantly there is so much more disk space and bandwith to handle the requirements of this podcast (without any additional cost). It also has some nifty features built-in, like automatic installtion of WordPress and Wiki which I having been planning to use for this show's blog. I also get the ability to create unlimited subdomains which no allows me to move the show's URL to podcast.michaeljosh.com.

Expect a new podcast tonight along with another BIG announcement.

Episode 10 is a quickie podcast from my living room sofa where it's hot and humid and very uncomfortable.

My new iPod camera connector arrived today and I would have talked more about it if I wasn't struggling to get some sound out of my vocal chords. You'll also hear about Tiger the new Apple Operating System and a juicy Britney Spears revelation.

Look out for a podcasting-related announcement!

My friend John joins me on the set as we try out another interesting podcast setup using Jupiter’s digital piano. We go crazy into the wee hours of the morning talking about our interesting experience at my recent hosting stint.

Among the other things discussed in this sub 50 minute show are: RSS feeds and how it can impact your life, why we need broadband, the royal wedding, the oldest thing in the world and John’s deteriorating eyes.

I also plug the talk that i will be doing on Podcasting. It’s this coming Tuesday April 12, 6pm at the Digital Exchange Activity Area of the Glorietta 3 in Makati.
